Our mission is to promote Democratic values and principles by electing Democrats to public office, building a progressive platform, and supporting legislation that protects present and future generations. We achieve this through education, empowerment, grassroots organization, and community-building.

Our party recognizes the role of government as working for the people, not special interests, in order to provide opportunities for working individuals to get ahead and restore economic security to the middle class.

Our party stands for environmental stewardship, believing that everyone is entitled to clean air and water, healthy food, and safe, livable communities. We work towards solutions to climate change, building a clean energy economy, securing environmental justice, and protecting our public lands.

PlatformSupporting Veterans, Healthcare, and Education for a Better Future

We honor and support our veterans who have served our country, and we believe that every Coloradan should have access to affordable healthcare and housing, without facing bankruptcy or homelessness due to illness. We advocate for quality education for all children in Colorado, regardless of their family’s economic status, and we believe that obtaining a post-secondary education should not result in massive borrowing and debt.

Our party strives to end mass shootings and gun violence, and we understand that managing our growth to maintain the Colorado way of life involves upgrading and modernizing our transportation, infrastructure, schools, water systems, and transitioning to renewable energy solutions.

We emphasize the importance of civic engagement, believing that all citizens have not just a right but a duty to participate in the electoral process. Our party is dedicated to protecting voting rights and ensuring inclusive and accessible voting for all, as well as promoting freedom of thought, assembly, and civility.
